Seoul Museum Of Art

SEMA (Seoul Museum of Art) always offers a variety of awesome exhibitions, I was especially impressed with the work of the late Chun Kyung-Ja’s work and equally I suggest art lovers explore all of the SEMA locations in Seoul and even given their gallery in Nown-Gu a look over.

Take a look at some articles about:

The Ikon

As a Brummie, I love this gallery and it’s cafe, a treat combined. The exhibitions are always unique and sometimes you leave impressed and sometimes not so much!

I love their coffee shop, I went there just before getting married and after numerous ‘pre-bus’ rides home after work and equally during my time as a student at The University of Birmingham.,

This gallery inspires the mind, Brindleyplace equally offers a safe place to release the mind and to think.

Explore your mind at the Ikon.

Check out their impressive blog as I do frequently or just go shopping!

Walk down history lane..

There is something magical about Stratford-upon-Avon, a market town with more than 800 years of history, adorable buildings, a lively town and one with some many blessings and worthy of a visit.

With so much to visit, I offer you a few snaps from my afternoon walking along very familiar territory for me, a Brit.

Exploring Gangnam is always fun, it is blessed with shops upon shops, cafes upon cafes and is a commercial heaven.. but.. walk those streets a bit more and you will find small temples, old buildings and the local community center which houses the Seoul Global Village Centre and a nice little space for a public gallery (like many GU offices).. here is a snap of a the Yeoksam’s mini gallery that I explored with my good friend Rebecca.

The latest mastermind of the Shinsegae  is Starfield Goyang which includes a handful of international brands, a long list of amazing Korean brands and even a fantastic new spa. I would highly recommend a visit and it is easy to get to (address: 경기도 고양시 덕양구 고양대로 1955)
