My October plan is to try engage with my body, make it more healthy, start to get fitter as the winter is around the corner and many a new adventure seems to be on the horizon. I think it is an an important goal.
My latest finds include a few of Seoul’s very hip veggie eateries including:
Plant Cafe (Itaewon), Vegetable (Sinsa) and So-Iroum.
Here a few pictures:

As the new year dawns for Jews, that means my birthday looms. I decided to take a detour on the way home and treated myself to a quiet but fulling meal at 소이로움(SOIROUM) a vegan restaurant/cafe which is only a short throw from the center of Seoul.
Very easy to find:
It took me nearly six years to be in the right place and the right weather to finally explore the memorial park in the heart of Gangnam, known as Seolleung and Jeongneung.
A UNESCO site that houses the Royal Tomb of King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon (Seolleung) and The Royal Tomb of King Jungjong (Jeongneung).
The site is not only the Royal Tomb but a home to a lot of nature waiting to say ‘hi!’
Please visit this site at the heart of Gangnam, it costs only 1000W.

An awesome gem at the Seoul National University is the ‘Museum of Art’ which seems to host some pretty amazing works let alone to be itself an artistic treasure on the glowing green campus on the southern part of Seoul.
For jaw-dropping creative exhibitions hit the green line and head there:
One magical gallery in Insa-Dong that I discovered with my good friend Jarrod was Gallery FM. They host a selection of artists often with fascinating stories, worth a try!
Exploring Gangnam is always fun, it is blessed with shops upon shops, cafes upon cafes and is a commercial heaven.. but.. walk those streets a bit more and you will find small temples, old buildings and the local community center which houses the Seoul Global Village Centre and a nice little space for a public gallery (like many GU offices).. here is a snap of a the Yeoksam’s mini gallery that I explored with my good friend Rebecca.
My first experience of the iconic D Museum was the inspiring and motivating Heatherwick Studio, the creativity and excitement of British design is certainly here – take a look!
How to end an awesome vacation?
I’ve always been a big fan of all things coming from Shinsegae and their latest product, Starfield is a magical treat. A short walk or a bus ride from Samseong on Line 3, a 20-30 minute ride from north Seoul.
I recommend you arrive early, 6-7am.. and spend a few hours in the mall’s spa and this post will give you a good reason, the spa offers many treats and my favorites were the pools.
The spa is located on the top floor, so once you feel all refreshed you can head downstairs for lunch and then some coffee!
The iconic entrance,

Seoul on a busy Friday night is always magical, I loved walking across the latest addition to Seoull07017 and Seoul Station.
